Combined lactate threshold and VO2max testing to assess submaximal and maximal endurance physiology and establish individual training zones.
Detailed Description
This combined assessment measures lactate threshold, heart rate, submaximal oxygen uptake and maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max). Testing is performed using a sport-appropriate modality such as treadmill running, cycling, rowing or ski ergometry. Fingertip blood samples are collected during the graded exercise test and oxygen uptake and heart rate are monitored throughout. A written report is provided with interpretation of key physiological markers and personalised training-zone recommendations.
