Add-on physiological analysis before and after a heat or altitude acclimation block, with a written report summarising the participant’s responses and changes.
Detailed Description
This add-on service provides physiological analysis before and after an environmental training block in the UWS environmental chamber. It is intended for clients completing a structured heat or simulated-altitude acclimation programme.
Heat analysis may include core temperature monitoring, performance metrics, perceived exertion and thermal index scales, sweat rate and fluid-balance assessment, and heart-rate response.
Altitude analysis may include haematocrit and haemoglobin analysis, performance metrics, perceived exertion, oxygen saturation, and heart-rate response.
Following completion of the pre/post assessments, results will be reviewed and summarised in a written report. The exact assessment protocol will be agreed with the Exercise Physiology Team before purchase.
