We can carry out field work designed to help individual coaches or groups of coaches better understand their coaching behaviours (specifically those concerning the coach-created motivational environment). Activities can be tailored to better features, effects, and/or influences on behaviours. To these ends, field work may involve the following: 

• Coaching observations, wherein we systematically code and/or take fieldnotes around interpersonal coaching behaviours (typically across several observations to develop an accurate picture) 

• Interviewing/questionnaires with coaches, athletes, and other connected stakeholders 

Field work can be done remotely or in person, availability and distance dependent, and would typically occur during the daytime in line with staff working hours however out of hour delivery can be negotiated. More extensive analysis can be negotiated as part of a project consultation (see service 2).
