One-to-One sport psychology support package (4 sessions at a subsidised price) offered exclusively to UWS Sports Scholars as part of their scholarship.

Detailed Description

UWS offers Sports Scholars the opportunity to access one-to-one sport psychology support. Support will be provided by UWS Staff (qualified Sport and Exercise Psychologists) and/or trainee Sport and Exercise Psychologists who are under supervision.  

Initial support consists of 4 sessions (at the subsidised cost of £100), and we will work with you to agree goals and the best way to support your needs. You can continue the support beyond the 4 sessions (up until the end of your studies at UWS), and if this is something you are interested in, then please speak to your Sport Psychologist about this.   

Support will be tailored to your needs: This may include: 

•    Observations in your training environment   
•    Opportunity to link in your coach (or other practitioners)  
•    Schedule in sessions around your competition and university schedule 
•    Or if you prefer you can keep the sport psychology support separate from your current sporting set-up.
