Hamilton Campus
This one day course would benefit any member of staff providing personal care to people living with dementia in their own home, community and hospital. Those attending will increase their knowledge, ability and confidence to provide responsive care and support to people with dementia.
At the end of this course participants will understand how they can contribute to ensuring people with dementia are receiving the right support and care at the right time, understand how they can provide adaptive and responsive care to changing needs, choices and decisions Understand how to support people with dementia to express their choices, views and concerns
